      The Summer School “Designing Resilient Entrepreneurship” is a 2-week intensive course on entrepreneurship that will take place at the University of Pisa (Italy) from June 19th to July 1st. The course wants to help transforming ideas into viable, sustainable and scalable businesses, building up resilience with respect to market turbulence. It follows an approach that mixes theory and practice to teach entrepreneurship, and includes three days of pretotyping and testing of the ideas. Many aspiring entrepreneurs don’t have all the skills necessary to succeed, such as the capability to develop an effective Business Model, or to manage a team in an effective way, or to analyze and exploit their Intellectual Property, or to communicate their idea to an investor

    On December 2nd the final conference of the ENDuRE project took place at the University of Pisa in the magnificent setting of the Gipsoteca di Arte Antica (Plaster Casts Gallery of Ancient Art). Exactly two years after the kick-off meeting, this conference gave the opportunity to present some of the main project’s results and to share them with an audience made of students, professors, investors, and experts of innovation.     Ivan Tyrsted, director of IDEA, and his colleague professor Torben Bager received the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Price witch – apart from the great honor - goes with a grant of 13.333 €. The money will be spent for training SDU students who want to develop their start-up company. The award was presented at the ‘Danish Entrepreneurship Award’.     After the successful conclusion of our training programs, ENDuRE has entered its mobility phase. A group of start-uppers, who attended the three editions of the ENDuRE training course, is now being hosted by the project partners with the aim of gaining experience, getting advice and help, having their business models improved and validated, and enlarging their network. The startups are RecycleBot from Italy, hosted in Denmark by Blue Ocean Robotics; Golfers’ match from UK hosted in Italy by Polo Tecnologico Navacchio, and Epida from Denmark hosted by iVeridis/Synoptica.
